Take a square sheet of paper with the white side facing up. Fold it in half left to right. Step 3: Fold in the left and right sides of the model; these will be the ears. Make the folds so the distance is the same from the each ear to the vertical crease. Step 4: Fold up the bottom corner of the model; this will be the snout. This is how it looks. Step 5: Lift open the layers of paper and tuck the bottom layer under. This makes it so the snout is a different color.

Take the second sheet of paper with the white side facing up. Fold in half along the diagonal as shown. Step 7: Fold up the bottom-right corner: this will be the tail. Or, continue below. Step 8: Unfold the tail section and make an outside reverse fold. To do this, invert the tail inside-out so the white side is visible. This is one of my favourite looking origami models. The entire thing including both the house and the dog is folded from one sheet of paper. Diagrams available in Origami for Interpreters.
